In chapter one in the working poor it goes over how workers are taking advantage of. They are often working for only minimum wage and are mislead by the employer. These companies often have bad spending habits and do not pay attention to many of the labor laws

About me

Hello my name is Nick Lindemann im a 19 year old jjc student from Lockport, Illinois. I have anoither sibling named katie and a german shepard named Jack. I am a big sports fan and my favorite teams are the cubs, bears, and the bulls. Some of my goals are to graduate from jjc in 2 years and get a job that has something to do with criminal justice. I would prefer to be a cop because it something that interest me and hopefully the pay will interest me also. In my free time I like to hangout with my friends and i also still play baseball. In the past i have worked at tacobell, sonic, and kmart. None of these jobs i liked what so ever and that is what motivated me to go to jjc so I could one day have a career that i enjoy.
